Gmote 2.0 on the ViewSonic gTablet

Gmote 2.0 on the ViewSonic gTablet Tube. Duration : 2.72 Mins.

This video demonstrates the use of Gmote 2.0 on the gTablet to control a HTPC connected to a Panasonic plasma television. This combination allows you to control your HTPC without a keyboard, mouse, or clunky specialized device. The system is a tad bit laggy so don't expect to play any games with it but it works great for tapping in a quick search or address. No drag/drop either but you can long press for right click and then click copy/cut/paste in the menu. As an added bonus Gmote works fine with a USB mouse or keyboard plugged into the gTablet!! www.gmote.org For more information on modding the ViewSonic gTablet please visit the sub-forum dedicated to it on xda-developers. forum.xda-developers.com The gTablet is running Cyanogenmod 6.1 beta 4 which is provided, graciously, by bekriebel. forum.xda-developers.com
